Following into the Sports Utility Vehicle segment a little late, Saab has decided to introduce the 2006 Saab 9-7X for the luxury SUV segment.
Structurally based on the Chevrolet Trailblazer and the GMC Envoy, the 2006 Saab 9-7X enjoys the synergy from both stables, each of whom is owned by General Motors.
The 2006 Saab 9-7X is available with 18” tires, and two engine variants – an improved V-6 engine for the standard, and the more powerful 5.3 liter V-8 engine that powers the premium model.
The premium model also comes fitted with GM’s electronic stability system, Displacement on Demand Technology, and leather-trimmed heated front seats. Interiors are impressive, with an XM Satellite Radio, Automatic Climate Control, and GM’s On Star communication system as part of standard equipment.
The trunk is quite spacious and can hold around 39.8 cubic feet, and becomes much more spacious when the rear seat is folded. The car is behaves well on rough roads, and can take different terrains well.
